The Marshall County RSVP will not operate our tax assistance for seniors programs for 2020 tax returns as our office and satellite senior centers are currently closed under Governor Ivey’s COVID guidelines. We hope to continue to serve our community in this regard when these restrictions are lifted and it is safe for our senior volunteers to participate. At this time, we are actively engaging in service opportunity that can be accomplished at-home and virtually.
If you have internet access, you can prepare your own taxes at My Free Taxes.
“You make a living by what you get.
You make a life by what you give.”
~Winston Churchill
We may be closed for our activities at the RSVP facility, but there are still many opportunities to volunteer. Check our Volunteer Opportunities page. If you would like to participate, download the Volunteer Application. You can email the completed form to us using the Contact Us Page. You can also mail it to the address at the bottom of this page. No matter what volunteer activity you choose, RSVP needs the hours you volunteer. Keep up with your hours using the Volunteer Hours Monthly Report. Send this in at the end of each month. If you need more information use the Contact Us Page.
